My Education

This compulsory session will give you an introduction to the MSc International Social and Public Policy and provide you with all the key information you need as you embark on your first steps as an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Social Policy Masters student. You will hear from key members of Faculty including your Programme Director and meet your Programmes Support Team.

 

MSc Criminal Justice Policy Induction- 12.30pm-1.30pm, CBG 1.02, Campus map

This compulsory session will give you an introduction to the MSc Criminal Justice Policy and provide you with all the key information you need as you embark on your first steps as an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Social Policy Masters student. You will hear from some key members of Faculty including your Programme Director and meet your Programmes Support Team.

My Support and Opportunities

 

MSc Social Policy Support session- 9.30am-11.00am, Peacock Theatre, Campus map

Your wellbeing and taking care of yourselves is important. At this session, you will hear more about the various support services and resources to bolster your mental health and wellbeing, both within the Department and more broadly at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. You will receive ideas and information about how to manage your wellbeing whilst you navigate your studies, and where to go if you need some help or support. You will also find out about how the Department will be supporting you to develop your academic and professional skills throughout your degree.

 

Race Matters Launch Event – 12.30pm-2.00pm, Auditorium, CBG, Campus map

Find out what the Department is doing to break down racial barriers at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, decolonise the curriculum and how you can get involved in the Race Matters initiative!

MSc Mentor Groups Introduction- 2.00pm-3.00pm, Peacock Theatre, Campus map

Your first opportunity to find out about your Mentor Group, start to discuss how you will work together.

 

MSc Treasure Hunt- 3.30pm-4.30pm

Get together with your Mentor Group and embark on a treasure hunt in the area of London close to campus! This is a great way to explore your new campus neighbourhood, whilst working as a team to solve clues as you race against the clock… and the other teams!
