Nicholas Stern () is IG Patel Professor of Economics and Government at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, Director of the ½ûÂþÌìÌà India Observatory and President of the British Academy.
Amartya Sen is Thomas W Lamont University Professor and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University. He is the recipient of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Economics and is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Honorary Fellow.
Naila Kabeer () is Professor of Gender and Development at the Gender Institute and at the Department of International Development at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. Her research interests include gender, poverty, social exclusion, labour markets and livelihoods, social protection and citizenship and much of her research is focused on South and South East Asia.
